- Julie Polidoro 
Julie Polidoro is a French artist raised in Rome, Italy
and educated in Paris, France. With a wealth of European
history in both art and culture as a result of her upbringing,
she brings to Hong Kong much European artistic sensibility.
Embracing the fusion of "East Meets West" as
early as 1995, Domanski decided to pursue his studies
in the East, at Varanasi, India after having obtained
a Masters Degree in the West, Wroclaw, Poland.
Her interest in art lies in the careful equilibrium of
object and space. Not only does she relish in portraying
the object, she is interested in the space which it occupies.
Fascinated by Chinese art, calligraphy and conceptual
expressions, Julie Polidoro is also a harbinger of the
Philippe Charriol Foundation with aims to create a special
rapport of eastern and western artistic cultures. |

Julie Polidoro's vision to pull together the east and west has
led herself to become the second recipient of the UNESCO-ASHBERG
Bursaries for Artists program under the joint collaboration
of the Philippe Charriol Foundation.
