"My Favourite PCF Winning Art Piece" Poll Results

Now, we finally came to our last stop! This time, we exhibited mainly PCF winning sculptures and installation art. Surprisingly, we got double winners for this stop! They are ˇ§Rice Bowlˇ¨ by Hon Shuk Kwan and ˇ§Fasten Downˇ¨ by Wong Ka Long.

ˇ§Rice Bowlˇ¨ was the winner of last year's PCF art competition in the installation category, with the theme of ˇ§Speed and Humanityˇ¨. It represents the simple yet valuable things in life most people have forgotten nowadays under their hectic and busy schedule. ˇ§Even the shape of the bowl is so simple; it is arabesque,ˇ¨ Ms. Hon said.

ˇ§Fasten Downˇ¨ was the winner in the sculpture category in 2002. Corresponding to the theme, ˇ§ChinaˇV the biggest country in the world- Arrogance and Restraintˇ¨, Mr. Wong created ˇ§Fasten Downˇ¨ to express his worry over the effects of open door policy in the country had on contemporary art teaching.
